We started the New Year in Kraków by organising a conference for our client from the fuel industry. Apart from conference-related tasks, the European participants had the chance to get to know Kraków during a street game and try Polish cuisine in exceptional places, such as the National Museum in the Cloth Hall and the Aviation Museum. It was really exciting and fun!
Participation in a congress for the pharmaceutical industry in Berlin – in November we organised participation in ADME, PK/TK, and Drug Metabolism in Drug Discovery and Development.
At the beginning of December we officially opened the ski season! This time we kicked off in Sölden – the only ski resort in Austria to have accommodated the FIS World Cup. It has three three-thousanders connected by a system of state-of-the-art ski lifts. In the day the participants took the slopes by storm. Later on, they attended a party in Apres Ski, and in the evening they dined at local atmospheric tyrolic restaurants.
Exploring Georgia. We travelled the length and breadth of this ravishing country. Georgia is full of wonderful people, spectacular landscapes, and marvellous old monuments. The country also prides itself on the greatest feasts in the world, beautiful toasts and the only alphabet of its kind in Europe. Finally, Georgia is a land flowing with wine.
Philadelphia – participation in a congress for the pharmaceutical industry in Philadelphia – in October we organised participation in the Fourth AACR International Conference on Frontiers in Basic Cancer Research.
Together with our client from the insurance industry, we visited one of the most popular holiday destinations on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea – Montenegro. This tiny country, around the size of the historic county of Yorkshire, has a lot to offer with its peaks of the Durmitor and the Tara River Canyon, which is 1.3 thousand metres deep. Not to mention the picturesque jagged edge of the coast.
Participation in a congress in Istanbul for the pharmaceutical industry – in September we organised participation in the 31st International Epilepsy Congress in Istanbul.
